Johanna and Juan met salsa dancing in San Francisco in 1999. They married in 2003 and moved to St Louis, MO to begin their new life.

Their work collaboration started with Johanna referring her interior design clients to Juan’s business for residential and commercial projects and painting. Years later, Johanna began working with Juan, and Cielo Painting & Design LLC was born.

Today, their company is relocated to the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast, Johanna’s birthplace and family roots.

Juan’s hallmark is his 100% focus and efficiency on every project from start to finish. His vast knowledge of paints, stains and finishes as well as construction and building materials provides critical and practical customization for the customer’s specific needs and budget.

He brings decades of experience and professional expertise to create quality results every time.

Johanna is passionate about design and feels that color is like music – it can transform the ambiance and mood of interior and exterior spaces. She considers the customer’s lifestyle along with flooring, trim, fixtures and hardware, using her education in design and decades of work experience with color and composition to create the ideal environment.
